Beginner piano lessons are a specialty here. Knowing that, Tony came to me recently and asked me a simple question...

He told me he'd never played piano before. He has a great passion for music. Truthfully, with his lifestyle, he doesn't have hours to devote to learning.

His words to me rang something like this:

"Dave, is it possible for me to have some fun playing piano without all the tedious learning details - I'm not so sure I have the time for all that."

Tony's situation is certainly not unique. When I find myself in the company of someone like him, I think to myself, "How amazing - the number of people who won't give themselves the satisfaction of having fun with music simply because they adopt an "all or nothing" mind set... trust me, I understand.

I, in turn, asked Tony if he would do me a favor and give me about ten minutes of his time (five minutes to set up the camera - the other five to sit at the keyboard and start playing). With half a smile, he agreed...

If I illustrated any further than providing this video, you'd have more information than he did for this unrehearsed piano session. You don't even need to know a note of music. Just do it!
