Illustrated here is a piano chord chart of the major chords (triads) in all 12 keys. Like any information, it is what you do with it that counts. Having the chart in front of you for reference is one thing. Sitting at the piano and being able to play these chords to the point of mastery is quite another. You goal should be the latter. You do not need to see "keyboard pictures" of these chords - you need to the piano and play them, creating your own visual pictures as you do so. Taking the time to do this - and making it fun for yourself - is what will lead to the kind of mastery I am talking about. I encourage you to play each of the chords in both hands, in all threepositions - Root Position, 1st Inversion, and 2nd Inversion.Fingerings to use are as follows... Left Hand Root Position: pinkie, middle finger, thumb
Right Hand Root Position:: thumb, middle finger, pinkie
Left Hand 1st Inversion: pinkie, middle finger, thumb
Right Hand 1st Inversion: thumb, middle finger, pinkie
Left Hand 2nd Inversion: pinkie, index finger, thumb
Right Hand 2nd Inversion: thumb, middle finger, pinkie
